David Transue is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Colorado specializing in condition evaluation and failure assessment of buildings and other structures. He has done forensic investigations on structural components, roofs, building envelope, building performance, material failure, and others. He has expertise in engineering and construction of masonry, non-destructive testing, material analysis, and evaluation of historic structures. Mr. Transue has experience as a contractor specializing in restoration, repair and retrofit of historic masonry structures.
Mr. Transue has published several technical works, including two chapters for ASCE handbooks. His speaking experience includes lectures at the University of Colorado, conference presentations, technical presentations to professional and trade organizations, and continuing education courses.
