SENIOR PROFESSIONALS

Jim Royston began practicing engineering in Denver in 1982. After successfully working for the late Dr. Albert Knott, PE, in 1990 he started his own practice, and then formed Western Engineering & Research Corporation (WERC) in 1997. Initially working as an independent Forensic Engineer in a small office, Jim quickly discovered he had a real passion and the skill needed for investigating engineering mysteries and soon became a recognized name in the industry. WERC’s clientele grew as did the need for expansion and Jim hired a team of Forensic Experts covering a wide range of engineering and related fields to assist him.
