H. James Royston, MS, PE is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Colorado as well as seven other states.  He serves as president of Western Engineering & Research Corporation and has more than 25 years of forensic experience specializing in the analysis of structural, architectural and construction failures and performance problems.  He has a reputation throughout the Rocky Mountain region for sound judgment and thorough reporting.

Mr. Royston is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE), a Board Certified Diplomat of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB), and he is involved with several other professional and technical organizations.  He has extensive experience in the areas of structural and architectural engineering, specializing in research, evaluation of building performance problems, and failure analysis. 

Mr. Royston evaluates commercial, residential, and industrial structure failures, collapses, accidents, and performance problems. He has provided expert testimony in numerous courts of law. Mr. Royston is the president of Western Engineering & Research Corporation.
